Karen Carpenter was an extraordinary soul who touched this earth deeply with her irreplaceable talent.

It is always a great pleasure and an honor for me to be able to perform a Carpenters' tribute show. One has to reach great emotional depths to sing those many wonderful Carpenters' songs.

Since having my son Mickey I have been enriched by many gifts. My heart and soul has been deeply touched, opening up deeper feelings within me, which has helped me to have the great sensitivity that is required to do this work.

Mickey was born disabled with cerebral palsy and he is unable to speak and cannot express himself with words. It is shown that it is not necessary to express what is most important and that is of the great love that he has to give and that he has shared with the many people he has met.

My son Mickey is my greatest gift in life and I feel very lucky and proud to be his mother.
