Even Stevens are the backing duo of Carpenters tribute band Carpenters Magic.
Even Stevens Biography
Even Stevens comprises of Steve Carter and Gary Donovan. Steve is a very talented bass player and backing vocalist. His voice is able to hit notes other guys dream of reaching! This helps to make the harmonies a great feature to this band. Gary is a great contribution to this group with his tribute to Richard Carpenter. With great keyboard playing and vocal ability it completes the outstanding and classy sound of"The Carpenters Magic" Tribute show
Even Stevens was formed in 1990 from members of two established and popular bands playing a variety of venues, primarily in S.E.London and Kent. Over the last 12 years their repertoire has expanded to include a range of music from 1950's Rock & Roll through to contemporary Dance music with ballads, pop classics and some strict tempo. Primarily a function band they pride themselves on providing a quality sound with many medleys to keep the dance floor busy throughout the evening.
